To create a customer's account, please go here. Fill in the required information: your username, e-mail address, first and last name, and then set a password. Finally, please select the 'Create an account' button located below the registration form.

Is my personal information safe?

Displate respects your privacy, therefore, the database of users is protected by law. Those personal data are specifically properly protected and secured from unauthorized access. Also, we will never distribute any of your personal information submitted to our website. Please read more about Privacy Policy here.

How do I change my password?

Easy-peasy 😊 Please go to the section 'Account Settings' in the top right corner of the page and click the button 'Change password' to make a change.

I forgot my password. How can I log in?

We hate it when it happens too 😉 Please go to your login page here and click 'Forgot my password'. We will send you a retrieval e-mail with further instructions. Make sure to check your spam folder too.

Can I change my login e-mail address?

Absolutely! 😊 Please go to the section 'Account Settings' in the top right corner of the page and in the section 'Basic Info' please click 'Edit' to change your e-mail address.

How can I sell artworks if I have a customer's account?

Please go to the section 'My profile' in the top right corner of the page and in the section 'Open Displate Shop & earn on your designs' click 'Contact us'. From there you can send us your portfolio so that we can get familiar with your artistic style. We will happily review your submission but just note that our colleagues from the Curation Team will verify only messages with a link to your online portfolio (social media, website, blog, etc.). Applications that do not include any link will not be considered. We will get in touch with those artists whose application has been successful. All those who will not get any response within the next five business days are considered as not accepted for Displate for which I'm sorry.

How do I delete a customer account?

To delete a customer account, please go to the section 'Account Settings' in the top right corner of the page. At the bottom you will find 'Deactivate account' button. Note that all the content of your account will be deleted and this is irreversible.

Does a frame change the size of a Displate?

Our frames don't change the size of Displates itself, however, they do make the designs a bit smaller since our frames are printed directly on the artworks.
As for the size of the frame, it is 3 cm wide for M Displate and 3.8 cm for L Displate.

How do I clean my Displate?

To clean your Displate, we suggest using water with a little bit of dish washing soap and a wet cloth to simply clean it.

What kind of metal are your Displates made of?

Our Displates are made of stainless steel.

Do Displates have a warranty?

Yes, we provide a 2-year warranty from the date of product delivery. You will find more details about the conditions for the warranty in clause 3.27 of our Terms of Use. Additionally, we offer our traditional 100 days of full satisfaction guarantee.

Why have prices changed recently?

Safe Wall Magnet Mounting System

Is the mounting system included in the price?

With your order you will receive not only a magnet or magnets (depending on the size of your Displate) but also a wipe for cleaning the wall and a protective leaf to stick it to your wall. Everything is free of charge in order to help you to mount your shiny, new Displate in the easiest way possible! 😉

Is it possible to stick a Displate on the wallpaper?

We generally recommend mounting Displates to smooth & even surfaces only (not a textured wall). A lot of our customers stick them to their wallpaper, however, we are unable to assess whether it will hold on your particular wallpaper.

How do I remove the magnet from my wall?

To remove the magnet from the wall you just need to grab a corner of the protective leaf and pull slowly. Simple as that 😊

Will a Displate damage my wall while taking it off?

One of the elements of the mounting kit, specifically the protective leaf, is meant to reduce the risk of damage of the wall if you decide to remove the Displate. Nevertheless, the final outcome also depends on the surface itself.

Can you recommend a different method of mounting?

We recommend mounting your Displate to the wall using our Safe Wall Magnet Mounting System only (which is sent with the order - totally free).
However, if you're able to drill into the surface, you can punch a hole in the magnet and mount it to the wall using a nail. It will be as snug as a bug in a rug! 😊

Can I mount my Displate on a brick surface?

In general, we don’t recommend mounting a Displate on rough or uneven surfaces. In this situation, if you're able to drill into the surface, you can punch a hole in the magnet and mount it to the wall using a nail.

Can I mount my Displate on a slanted wall?

In case of mounting a Displate to a slanted wall, gravity definitely has the upper hand and can overpower the magnet causing your artwork to fall. Therefore, we can only advise mounting a Displate on a straight surface.

Can I mount my Displate in a bathroom?

Our Displates are galvanized which prevents them from rusting. However, in general we don't recommend mounting a Displate in an exceptionally humid environment as it can affect the strength of your magnet.

Can I mount my Displate outside?

Displates are mainly domestic creatures and love hanging around walls. However, they also enjoy being outside! In general, Displates are resistant to atmospheric conditions. They don't corrode and should stay in perfect condition and survive for many many years. One thing though, it is important not to place them directly in the sunlight and they should avoid direct contact with water, as the glue used in our Safe Wall Magnet Mounting System may lose its strength when exposed to these factors. Other than that, Displates are tough little beasts! 😊

What kind of surface do you recommend for mounting your Displates?

We generally recommend mounting the Displates to the wall that are smooth and don't have a rough surface (not a textured wall). Please avoid walls such as the one below:

How can I pay for an order?

Depending on the country we offer various forms of payment: credit card (AX, VI, CA, or Discover), PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, AliPay, Sofort, EPS, online bank transfers, and Trustly. The payments are made in USD, EUR, GBP, DKK, SEK, CHF, NOK, and SGD. If your local currency is different than the ones mentioned above, please check the currency that you will be charged by adding a Displate to the cart. Remember that your bank will convert the amount to your local currency at its exchange rate. As for our Gift Cards, you can pay for them with your credit card (AX, VI, CA or, Discover) or via PayPal and payments will be made only in EUR and USD as they are not available in every country. Can I pay with a visa gift card?

Unfortunately, we don't accept Visa/Vanilla gift cards as a method of payment.

Can I order a Displate with my own image?

Yes, there is such a possibility. However, this option is only available for Displate Club members. You can find more information about our Club and how to join here.

Can you customise an artist's design which is already published on your website?

The designs on our website belong to our artists and we are not able to make any alterations. Every design is the artwork of a specific artist and therefore, their intellectual property.

Can I request a new Displate design?

We would be happy to contact an artist on your behalf if you have a suggestion for a new Displate in one of the artist's collections. However, unfortunately we cannot give you any guarantee that the requested artwork will be uploaded, as our artists are free to upload only artworks of their choice and we don't have any influence on their content or in the theme they want to follow. If you'd like to send us a request, please contact us here and let us know the name of the artist as well as the desired Displate.

Can I request a specific or larger size of a Displate?

We are afraid that we are not capable of printing custom sizes. Sorry ☹ Due to the limitations in the production process, we can only print Displates in the sizes below:

Medium size is 45 cm / 32 cm (17,72" / 12,6"),
Large size is 67.5 cm / 48 cm (26,60" / 18,90"),
X Large size is 90 cm / 64 cm (35,44"/ 25,20").

Can I get XL size in one piece?

We are afraid that we are not capable of printing XL Displate in one-piece. Sorry ☹ This is due to technical restrictions.

What kind of frames do you offer?

Each frame is 3D-printed on metal using our specialized patent pending tech. We offer four different frames such as graphite and black, white and natural wood patterns. You can check them out here.

Can I choose a frame or gloss finish with my XL Displate?

XL Displates are only available in matte finish and without the option to add frames. This is due to a specific layout of the XL Displate being as a four-piece design and also due to technical restrictions of printing.

Can I order only a frame for my current Displate?

Each frame is printed directly on the Displate so it remains one-piece. This also means that the frames cannot be ordered separately.

What's the difference between matt and gloss finish?

Both finishes will make your artwork look like a masterpiece, but here's how they're different:
The gloss finish works great for photographs, as it really highlights black shades in photos, resulting in high contrast images with boosted colours.
Matte, on the other hand, imitates the effect that film has by focusing more on the texture of the image. It is also less prone to fingerprints so great if you are hanging it in a high traffic area or where there will be kids nearby. 😉 Additionally, matte finish will not show as many reflections as the glossy finish does and also cuts down on glare if the sun shines directly on the Displate.

Can I buy digital art files?

Each design is created and owned by the artists and it's their intellectual property. Therefore, the artworks on our website cannot be sold in a digital format.

Can I cancel my order?

You may cancel your order within the next 24 hour of placing it. This is due to the fact that after that time Displates are printed.

Why did a Displate disappear from my wishlist?

If a Displate disappeared from your wishlist or cart, we are afraid that the Displate you wanted to buy is no longer available. Our artists are free to upload, update and remove artworks from our website at any given time and we respect their decisions. Some artists prefer to put up collections only for a limited time or remove them for other reasons and unfortunately, we have no say in that.

Can I request that an invoice is not added to my order?

Don't you worry, we don't send invoices with our Displates. We hope that they will make a fabulous surprise for the happy receiver.

Can you reissue a Gift Card in case of loss?

What should I do if I received a faulty Displate?

We are sorry that your Displate came faulty! 😞 If you received a package that is visibly damaged, please make sure to check its content and refuse delivery if your Displate turned out to be also damaged. If you happen to discover the damage after the delivery, please contact us here from the e-mail address used to place your order and send us some photos of the Displate received as well as the box so that we can help. However, if your Displates were delivered by UPS, please keep them along with the delivery box for five business days of delivery since UPS will contact you to collect them.

As for Lumino, if it appears not to be working, we would like to ask you to make a short video on how you connect it to the power bank provided or to another source of power so that we can see what the issue seems to be. Also, we will appreciate some photos of the box.

What happens if my package is missing some of Displates I ordered?

What is the estimated time of delivery?

What shipping companies do you use?

All parcels are securely packed and sent by DHL, UPS or Fedex shipping companies depending on the country of shipment.

Do you deliver to PO BOX, APO, FPO, DPO, mail box addresses?

Unfortunately, due to the shipping companies' restrictions on delivery to such addresses, we might not be able to send your order. We suggest using a regular address when placing an order.
If you've already placed an order with such an address, please contact us here from the e-mail address used to it so that we can check if the shipping company is able to deliver your package.

Do you deliver to the services points?

Yes, however this option is currently available only for UPS and the orders not exceeding the weight of 20 kilos. To check such a possibility, add the chosen Displate to the cart and then go to check-out.

Can I request my order to be delivered without a signature?

There's a possibility to deliver your package without a signature depending on the courier. As for Fedex, they will deliver the package without a signature if you are not available. As for DHL and UPS, please arrange your delivery directly at the shipping company's website. For DHL check out the link here. For UPS via here. Please remember, it can take up to 12 hours after the order has been shipped for a change to become available online.

How can I change my shipping address?

Piece of cake! 😊 If you want to change your shipping address and already have your tracking number, please make a change directly at the shipping company's website. For DHL check out here. For UPS here and Fedex here. As for DHL Poland please go here and Germany here. Please remember, it can take up to 12 hours of shipment for a change to become available online.

How can I complete this purchase with a different shipping and billing country?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to choose different countries between your shipping and billing address. We suggest leaving the "billing address same as shipping" option already selected when checking out so you can save some time and make your order as simple as possible.

Where do you ship from?

We ship our Displates from the homeland of pierogi (national snack, yummy 😋 ) - Poland! :)

Do you have an expedited shipping option at an additional fee?

Unfortunately, we don't currently provide the option to pay extra for expedited delivery. However, rest assured that we're working around the clock to ship all the packages in a timely manner and remember: Displates are worth waiting for. 😊

Can I choose a shipping company?

Unfortunately it's not possible to choose the shipping company while ordering. We ship our Displates by DHL, UPS or Fedex only, depending on the destination. You will find out about your shipping company in the confirmation e-mail which is sent after placing an order. Whatever the company, they do their best to deliver Displates smoothly.

Returns

What is your return policy?

If you change your mind, you may return a Displate product within 100 calendar days of delivery and you will receive 100% refund. The product is eligible for return if it is in the original state and the mounting system has not been used. The Product needs to be sent at the customer's cost.

In case of a partial return the original shipping cost is not refunded. Also, the custom prints and Displates obtained with a Displate Club voucher are non-refundable. As for a Safe Wall Magnet Mounting System, a 3D Magnet or a Displate Stand, you may return it as per our policy above, however, partial returns of a Safe Wall Magnet Mounting System are not possible.

As for Lumino, to be eligible for a refund the whole product including, power bank, 2 x USB-C cables and the mounting system needs to be returned in an original package or alternatively a package which is labelled with a UN3481 Lithium Battery Label. You may find it here. The label must be printed in color with the minimum dimension of 10 cm wide × 10 cm high (3.94"/3.94").

How do I join Displate Club and how does it work?

You will be charged a flat fee upfront every month. In the 12th month, you will get a voucher which will show up in your account in the section Displate Club in your Account Settings. What are the techincal requirements for custom Displates?

Please always choose the best quality images as our system doesn’t check the quality print of any custom orders. We strongly recommend minimum 300DPI, shortest side of an image at least 2900px. Moreover, JPG size up to 30MB with 1.4:1 ratio for the best product fit (ex. 4060px x 2900px).

Also, please avoid photos with borders to avoid cutting the content of an image during the process of production. Finally, text/content shall be at least 200px from the edge. If you follow these guidelines, your custom Displates will look amazing!

What is the price of a custom Displate?

The price of a custom Displate equals to cost of a medium size Displate. Also, as a club member, you won’t need to pay for shipping.😊

Can I cancel my Displate Club?

You can cancel your Displate Club at any time. Just please go to your account and in the section 'Account Settings' click 'Cancel Membership'.

Can you refund my Displate Club fees already paid if I decide to terminate my subscription?

As per our policy we may refund only subscription fee paid with an inital order as soon as it is requested no longer than 14 days of placing an inital order. If you wish to get a refund of your subscription fee from your initial order, please contact us here from the e-mail address used to place it so that we will help. Also, please make sure that you cancel your Displate Club in the section 'Account Settings' by clicking the button 'Cancel Membership', otherwise you will be charged again.

Can I redeem my voucher for an artwork from the Limited Edition?

You may choose any Displate as soon as its value doesn't exceed the value of the voucher.

If I redeemed my voucher can I still return my Displates to get a refund?

As per our policy, Displates obtained with a Displate Club vouchers are non-refundable.

If I redeemed my voucher can I still exchange my Displates?

Following our policy, we are afraid that there is no such a possibility to exchange any Displate.

If I redeemed my voucher for a Displate which value is lower than the value of the voucher can I use it for next Displate or ask for refund of unused value?

The voucher may be used only once, therefore, a difference between the value of Displate bought for a voucher and the value of unused voucher cannot be used for next Displates. Also, the vouchers are non-refundable.

Can I refund my custom made Displate?

As per our policy, all custom Displates are not eligible for a refund.

How long a voucher is valid?

It is valid for 90 days from the date of its issue and cannot be used after it expires.

How to become an Artist on your website?

It's great to hear that you want to join Displate community! 😉 We will happily review your submission. Please send us your portfolio at [email protected] so we will get familiar with your artistic style. Just note that my colleagues from the Curation Team will verify only messages with a link to your online portfolio (social media, website, blog, etc.). Applications that do not include any link will not be considered. We will get in touch with those artists whose application has been successful. All those who will not get any response within the next five business days are considered as not accepted for Displate for which we're sorry.

Do I have to pay something to become an Artist on Displate?

Becoming an Artist on Displate is 100% free! 😊

Do the artworks presented on Displate undergo any selection?

Displate reserves the right to reject any artwork during the validation process that is not in line with the profile of our website or doesn't meet our technical criteria. The most common reasons for artworks' rejection are: low quality files and borders or text being too close to the edge.

What technical requirements have to be fulfilled by the artwork to pass verification?

- Only high print quality uploads are published
- Minimum 300 DPI in RGB mode. JPG size up to 30MB
- The shortest side at least 2900px
- 1.4:1 ratio for the best product fit (ex. 4060px x 2900px)
- No logos, no watermarks, no borders
- Text/content shall be from the edge at least 200px for the file with min. size 4060px x 2900px
- The whole content of the design must be included in oneuploaded file
- No multiple uploads of the same image with slightly changed colour palette or tiny detail
- Tags need to correspond directly to the subject of the artwork

What is your copyrights policy?

Our copyright policy is based on one rule: whenever an artist uploads artwork, they will continue to have ownership of the piece for as long as the artwork stays on our site. Our goal is to protect the artist's artwork, along with their intellectual and artistic property. You can read more about copyrights here.

How to upload artworks on the website?

To upload a single artwork, or several at once, you just need to go to the top right corner of our website to find the section 'Upload your artwork'. It's that simple! 😊 But remember, before uploading, please make sure that our technical requirements are met. You may check them here.

How to check the status of my upload?

To check the status of your upload, please go to the section ‘Upload history’ in the top right corner of the page. Please note that validation occurs Monday to Friday only. Therefore, in the case that your design is uploaded on Friday, it may not be validated until the following Monday.

Can I upload a square image?

Unfortunately, we are not able to print outside of our ratio 1. 4:1 as your image wouldn't fit the product.

Why isn't my Displate available in XL?

We are sorry that your Displate is not available in XL. Unfortunately, the possibility to print in XL depends on the quality of the file, thus not every artwork is available in XL size. Additionally, we can only print artworks in XL size if they are vertical/portrait. The largest size possible for any horizontal/landscape artwork is L. If any of your portrait/vertical format artworks are not currently available in XL. We kindly invite you to remove the design and amend the file. Please find our technical requirements here.

Why do I receive the error message:'artwork is too short' or 'increase size, long side must be at least' while uploading an artwork?

The reason for this issue is due to the ratio of pixels. Our ratio 1. 4:1 means that the short side of a file needs to be multiplied by 1, 4 to get correct proportions. For example, if the short side is 1000px, then the long one should be 1400px. Therefore, please adjust the size of your file to meet our technical requirements. Also, please be sure that the short side of your file is at least 2900 px. If this doesn't fix this issue, please contact us here and send the file as well as a screenshot of the error message you receive so that we can help.

Why can't I upload my artwork, even though I filled in the description?

The most likely (but easy to fix!) reason for not being able to upload your art is that the information on the right hand side of the screen has not been fully updated. Please complete each field so that the bar under your image shows 100%. Note: the most commonly missed field is Collection Name.

What does is mean 'You can have only 1 tab with Multiuploader open' while uploading an image?

The most likely reason for the answer from our website: 'You can have only 1 tab with Multiuploader open' is that there is a possibility that you have our website open in some other browser or window. Even if the website is not active but it is opened in two separate windows, the issue may occur. We suggest closing other tabs or uploading your designs by using the incognito mode (ctrl + shift + n) or alternatively just dragging your artworks to the screen which may force an upload.

Why are my artworks still awaiting approval?

Please note that validation occurs Mon-Fri. Therefore, in the case that you upload your design on Friday, it may not be validated until the following Monday. If this doesn't fix this issue, please contact us here and send us a screenshot of the file from the section 'Upload history' so that we can help.

Why are my artworks not approved?

If you run into problems with your artworks being not approved, please contact us here from the e-mail associated with your account and send a screenshot of the artworks from the section 'Upload history' so that we can help.

Why are my artworks deactivated?

If you find that your artworks have been deactivated, please contact us here from the e-mail associated with your account and send a screenshot of the artworks from the section 'Upload History' so that we can help.

Why aren't my collections visible on my profile?

Collections which contain less than 4 Displates are visible only for logged users. However, if your collection has more than 4 Displates, please contact us here from the e-mail associated with your account so that we can help.

Why can't I find my published artworks when searching?

It may take up to 24 hours for artworks to become searchable on our website after they have been validated.
If it has been more than 24 hours and you cannot find your artworks when searching the included tags, please contact us here from the e-mail associated with your account so that we can help.

How do I delete an artwork?

Please go to 'My profile' then 'Displates'. You can remove your art from the sections 'Displates' or 'Collections' by hovering over the selected design. Just click 'Edit' and 'Remove artwork' buttons and *poof*, it will be gone forever! Simple as that! 😊

How can I delete a not approved image from my profile?

It is not possible to delete any images that are "not approved". This is because they are not actually published on our website. They are only visible to you in the section "Upload history".  

How can I change the details of my artwork?

In order to edit your artwork, please go to your profile and click 'Show' and 'Displates' buttons. Then, hover over the desired Displate and click 'Edit' button.

How can I edit my collection?

In order to change your collection, please go to your profile and click 'Show' and 'Collections' buttons. Then, hover over the collection you wish to update and click 'Edit' button.

I made a mistake. The image is not approved yet, can you delete it so that I can upload the correct file?

Unfortunately, it isn't possible to delete an artwork while it is in our validation process. Therefore, you will need to wait for validation to be finalized.
In the case that your artwork is approved, you will be able to delete it by going to 'My profile' then 'Displates'. You can remove your art from the sections 'Displates' or 'Collections' by hovering over the selected design and clicking 'Edit' and 'Remove artwork' buttons.

Can Artists set the price of their works by themselves?

The prices are fixed for each size of Displate so the artists are not able to set them.

Is there a way to see the number of views on my artworks/profile?

Unfortunately, this option is not available. However, we will consider adding this function in the future.

How can I get my artworks featured on the Displate main page?

Featuring of all artworks is done automatically and depends on the number of visits to your profile as well as the duration of each visit.

What is the size of a profile and background photo?

The minimum size of the profile picture is 214 x 214px and as for the background photo it is 2558 x 500px.

What is an artist's commission for selling an artwork from a regular collection?

It is 4,50 USD for M size artwork, 9 USD for L size artwork and 14,50 USD for XL minus taxes and fees and a discount, if one was applied. Please make sure that PayPal is available in your country as all pay-outs can only be made through PayPal. The list of countries supported by PayPal can be found here.

How can I see my sales and earnings?

Please go to the top right corner of the page to find section 'Earnings'. Information related to sales and earnings is displayed in the sections 'My Commission' and 'Sales Statistics'.

When is the commission published on my account?

It is published after the period of 24 hours of selling the product. It will then be available to request the payment after the period of 10 days of selling the product.

Is there a minimum pay-out threshold?

Payment will be made only once a minimum of 50 USD is accumulated on your account.

How do I request pay-out?

Please go to the top right corner of the page to find section 'My Earnings'. Next, to request your pay-out please click the 'Request payment' button and provide your PayPal e-mail address and Displate password.

When do I get paid?

Payments are made within 45 days from the date of requesting the pay-out.

Why did a sale disappear from my dashboard?

As per our policy, in the case a customer cancels his order, then commission is also cancelled.

Can I apply my commission as Displate credit?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to apply your commission as credit in your Displate account.

I uploaded my tax data, why can't I request my commission?

Approval of your tax data can take up to 72 hours. Once it is accepted, then you will be able to request your pay-out. Also, please keep in mind that there is a minimum pay-out request of 50 USD.

How do I delete an artist account?

To delete an artist account, please go to the section 'Account Settings' in the top right corner of the page. At the bottom of the page you will find the 'Deactivate account' button. Please be aware that all data, artworks and outstanding commission will be immediately and irreversibly deleted at the time of account removal. Therefore, if you have any outstanding commission, you will need to request your pay-out and wait for the funds to be transferred before closing your account.

If you are an artist and looking to buy your own artworks with a special artist's discount, you need to first sign up on Displate.

What is an artist's commission for selling an artwork from the Limited Edition and Ultra Limited Edition?

How can I sell my artworks in the Limited Edition?

Our Curation Team will be choosing artworks for the Limited Edition and then contacting the artists to get approval for sale.

Can Artists set the price of the artworks in the Limited Edition by themselves?

The prices of the artworks in the Limited Edition are set up by the Displate Team.

Why can't I see a modified version of my artwork on my profile?

The Limited Edition artworks are published only on a separate landing page.

What is the Ultra Limited Edition?

Ultra Limited Edition is Limited Edition Displate on another level, better and more exciting. It gives more of that unique metal poster experience. Ultra Limited Edition means ultra sized as it comes in Large, ultra detailed with more unique features, including more special print enhancements, released in ultra limited runs, and with collaborations with ultra artists.

Lumino

What is it? Is it a Displate?

Displates are high-quality metal posters printed in different sizes. Lumino is a premium variant with ultra-thin, animated OLED lights built in between its layers. It has a front acrylic panel on a metal backplate, and only comes in size M. You could say it is similar to a regular Displate but evolved for future generations of collectors!

Is it limited?

Yes. Every Lumino artwork is available for 12 weeks from the launch date. So after it's gone from the website, we'll never re-rerelease it. Every Lumino is numbered, with a certificate and a hologram.

Is it matte or gloss?

That depends on the artwork. Every Lumino artwork is handcrafted similarly to Limited and Ultra Limited Edition Displates. Our designers choose the best finishes to complement the artwork. For example, Lumino OLED lights are hidden beneath a thin acrylic panel; sometimes, we let it shine or cover it with matte paint.

Is it exclusive?

Lumino technology has a patent pending. Moreover, we design non-licensed artworks from scratch to work best with the Lumino OLED lights. The officially licensed art is also modified to work with our technology, so yeah, it's quite an exclusive product.

How is it powered?

You can power Lumino with the following:

  • Power bank included in the package. A fully charged 10.000 mAh power bank should fuel the Lumino for over 20 hours. You can recharge the power bank through the second USB port in Lumino, so you don't have to take it off the wall.
  • A phone charger or any electronic device with a USB port.
  • (*spoiler alert*) Displate Ambient Light, our upcoming mounting system with smart LED lights and built-in battery cells.

How much power does Lumino use?

If you want to turn on your Lumino, a 1 Amper power source is enough. However, if you want to charge the connected power bank or energize another device while admiring your Lumino, you must use a 3 Ampers power source. Remember to use only 5 Volts power source in such cases.

For how long will the Lumino OLED lights last?

10.000 hours before they might start to dim a little. Please note that Lumino is designed for home use only and will not work properly when used commercially, for example, as a store or club display.

How bright are the lights? Can I turn off the animations?

It's bright like an average smartphone screen with brightness set to 80%. You definitely cannot use Lumino as a lamp. And yes, you can turn off the animations and use constant light mode.

How do I mount Lumino on the wall?

Please use the new 3D Magnet included in the package. Lumino electronic components can break, so we invented a heavy-duty mounting system that works on every surface and holds up to 7 kilograms (15 pounds). You will need to drill three holes, but we designed the mounting process as simple as possible. Download the manual here In the future, you will also be able to mount Lumino on (*spoiler alert*) Displate Ambient Light.

What's the distance from the wall in millimeters and inches?

The distance between the wall and the back of Lumino is 36 mm (1,4").

Does Lumino have a warranty?

Yes, we provide a 2-year warranty from the date of Lumino delivery. You will find more details about the conditions for the warranty in clause 3.27 of our Terms of Use. Additionally, we offer our traditional 100 days of full satisfaction guarantee.

What should I do if I received a faulty Lumino?

We are sorry that your Lumino came faulty! 😞 If you received a package that is visibly damaged, please make sure to check its content and refuse delivery if your Lumino turned out to be also damaged. If you happen to discover the damage after the delivery, please contact us here from the e-mail address used to place your order and send us some photos and a video of the received Lumino as well as a photo of the box so that we can help. However, if your Lumino was delivered by UPS, please keep it along with the delivery box for five business days of delivery since UPS will contact you to collect it.

Moreover, if your Lumino appears not to be working, we would like to ask you to make a short video on how you connect it to the power bank provided or to another source of power so that we can see what the issue seems to be. Also, we will appreciate some photos of the box.

Is your Lumino mounting system reusable?

Lumino mounting kit can be reattached, however, wall plugs need to be replaced with new ones.

Can I place an order for 2 Luminos?

Unfortunately, due to the shipping restrictions on batteries, you can only buy one Lumino poster in a single order.

How to sell artworks as an artist with Share and Earn?

You need to register an artist’s account on our website to sell artworks with Share and Earn. We will happily review your submission. Please send us your portfolio at [email protected] so we will get familiar with your artistic style. Just note that my colleagues from the Curation Team will verify only messages with a link to your online portfolio (social media, website, blog, etc.). Applications that do not include any link will not be considered. We will get in touch with those artists whose application has been successful. All those who will not get any response within the next five business days are considered as not accepted for Displate for which I'm sorry. After getting our approval, please go to your profile page, collection or a single artwork and click 'Share and earn' button to create your Share and Earn link. Then share it around the world - place it on your social media, website, blog or wherever it fits!

What is an artist's commission in Share and Earn?

Within 30 days of sharing the link, you may earn a 41% commission of the net price in USD of your artwork minus taxes and fees and a discount if it has been used. Just please check here if PayPal is available in your country as all pay-outs are made via PayPal only.

What is an artist's commission of the Limited Edition and Ultra Limited Edition Displate sold with a link Share and Earn?

It is 10% of the net price in USD, minus taxes and fees. Just please check here if PayPal is available in your country as all pay-outs are made via PayPal only.

What is an influencer's commission in Share and Earn?

It is up to 25% commission of the net price of an artwork USD minus taxes and fees and a discount if it has been used.

How do you know the commission is mine?

We use special cookies for that. They help us determine the source of traffic and purchase on our site. Thanks to this trick we know who is responsible for the sales.

What happens if someone clicks on the link that I'm sharing, does not purchase it during the first session but comes back later and makes a purchase?

Cookies will help us with this. Once they are created, they are live for 30 days. Which means a user doesn't have to make a purchase right away for you to earn your commission. The purchase can be made anytime during that 30 days period for us to assign the commission to your account.

Do I have to pay to be able to use Share and Earn?

No, there is no additional fee to start working and earning with us.

How can I see my sales and earnings?

Please go to the top right corner of the page to find section 'Earnings'. Information related to sales and earnings is displayed in the sections 'My Commission' and 'Sales Statistics'.

How and when can I withdraw my earnings?

Your commission is published after the period of 24 hours of selling the product and then will be available to request the payment after the period of 10 days of selling the product. You will be able to withdraw money via PayPal once you earn at least 50 USD. Note: you will receive your pay-out within 45 days from the date of requesting.
